A continuously evolving  market

Digital Innovation will be the basis for increasing the productivity of the country and the way forward for companies that want to grow and be leaders in this market.

Europe: By 2020 it could grow by 4% of its GDP, thanks to the development of the digital single market, while the transition to e-government would allow the Public Administration to achieve cost savings of around 15-20% (1).

Italy: In 2013 it was considered the worst performer in digital innovation, as opposed to the main European countries where digital has created new business opportunities and market expansion. A record low, which, however, shows that there is ample room for growth and improvement for the digital economy within the Country.

Advantages: The digitization of services is deemed to be the basis for increasing the productivity of the country and the way forward for companies that want to grow and be leaders, especially in the following areas:
  • Public Administration and e-government;
  • Applications and services for small and medium sized enterprises;
  • Widespread dissemination of digital content and software via the Internet;
  • Energy saving and green economy;
  • Smart cities, i.e. applications for the management of traffic, infrastructure and the environment in urban areas.
The digital world is in constant development (2) and we will update our Customers on new application contexts that will emerge in the future.
